TASER Agent Certification Class
  • Tuition is $50.00.
  • Required by the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance to carry a TASER weapon while on security officer duty. 
  • Course is 4 hours.   
  • The course reviews electro-muscular disruption principles and how to use the TASER.
  • The student must take a written exam at the end of the class.  A passing grade of 70% or more is required for successful completion.
  • Student exposure to the TASER is voluntary.   
  • USA Training Academy will ensure that all training materials are provided including the TASER weapon.     
  • A state chemical agent certification card is issued upon successful completion of the class.
